I can cherish this soothing thought: that God in His Sovereign Providence has limitless ways of providing for my needs and wants, and of delivering me from my distresses. And this even more soothing thought: that God has declared that He cares for me and invites me to cast all my care and anxieties onto Him. He is Almighty and infinitely wise and I can rest all of my weight on Him always. I must distrust my understanding and not allow my lack of knowledge and capacity to accuse God of cruelty or injustice or neglect!
